Allenspark Fire Protection District – Incidents March 21 to April 16, 2024

March 21, 2024, 22:28 to 19:09, Medical Call, County Road 113 N

AFPD assessed patient and assisted Estes Park Ambulance 410 with patient care.  EP410 transported to Estes Park Health. 

Six Allenspark personnel responded.

March 22, 2024, 00:49 to 02:03, Medical Call, Meadow Mountain Road

AFPD assessed patient and performed basic life support measures.  Estes Park Health Ambulance 410 took over patient care.  Scene left with Boulder County Sheriff's Officer. 

Seven Allenspark personnel responded.

March 26, 2024, 14:24 to 14:46, Lift Assist, Ski Road East

AFPD assisted patient to house, no further response needed.

Six Allenspark personnel responded.

March 26, 2024, 14:55 to 15:49, Medical Call, Ski Road East

AFPD assessed patient; took vitals, medical history, medications, etc.  Estes Park Ambulance 410 transported to Estes Park Health.

April 6, 2024, 16:12 to 17:00, Severe Weather Assistance, Riverside Drive

AFPD units in area found tree on Riverside Drive, blocking the road.  AFPD cut and removed tree because Boulder County Road units were unavailable.

Twelve Allenspark personnel responded.

April 7, 2024, 07:52 to 09:15, Power Line Down, Highway 7

AFPD investigated power line down over Highway 7.  AFPD removed the lines from the road because power was off and Xcel Energy crews were unavailable.

Seven Allenspark personnel responded.

April 7, 2024, 09:06 to 09:20 Rock in Road, Riverside Drive

AFPD received a report of a large rock that had been pushed by high winds onto Riverside Drive. AFPD removed hazard because Boulder County Road crews were unavailable.

April 7, 2024, 15:32 to 16:13, Power Line Down, Business Route 7

AFPD investigated situation, informed Estes Power and Light of problem.  AFPD was unable to remove the tree due to energized power lines.  Estes Power & Light advised that they were not concerned about potential hazards and would remedy the situation as soon as possible.

April 13, 2024, 13:21 to 14:00, Motor Vehicle Accident, Highway 7

AFPD investigated in the area of an iPhone Accident Alert.  Checked highway, ditches, side streets, nothing found.  Called phone number listed, no answer.  No further response needed.

April 15, 2024, 13:21 to 14:00, Medical Call, Bill Waite Road

AFPD assessed patient; vitals, medical history, medications, etc.  AFPD transferred patient to Estes Park Ambulance 410.  EP410 transported to Estes Park Health.
